Owner: Mandy Spell
B.loved owner Mandy Spell (31) grew up and currently resides in Canton, GA with her husband Scott, their son named Easton & their two dogs Finn and Sis. Mandy likes to start the day with a morning walk to clear her head. When she’s not busy working you can find Mandy enjoying some good food and watching her favorite sports, “Normally I would beat my husband to the sports channel… but now a days it’s Mickey Mouse Club House for all of us!”
Free time is for baby snuggles.
This girl does it ALL; from keeping things running smoothly at the shop to lovin’ on her family and friends. Anyone that knows her knows she would give you the shirt off her back… literally (we’ve seen her undress and sell her own shirt). Selfless and sweet, our girl Mandy is a one-of-a-kind boss lady.
It wasn’t until high school that Mandy found her niche and decided to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Fall of 2006, she enrolled at Atlanta InterContinental University and majored in fashion marketing. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Marketing she tag teamed with a friend to open B.loved online. From there she grew the business we have all come to love.
Mandy’s passion for design has inspired her through the years. “My dream was a hometown store where I could pursue my passions, but what I have gained is so much more. A friendship with the community, a family within co-workers, and a life filled with days of doing what we love – that is what makes this reality a dream come true.”
Store Manager / Media Relations Manager: Kadie Mullinax
Our girl, Kadie (24) was raised in the small mountain town of Jasper, GA. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones and her dog, Opie Taylor (who might be seen in store). When not at work you can typically find Kadie running, baking, or traveling; just a view of her favorite things.
After graduating from Pickens High she continued her education at Reinhardt University, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Kadie joined the team during the fall of 2015.
“I have always been passionate about fashion and helping people, so it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the work and the people I am lucky enough to call co-workers.”
Mandy quickly learned that Kadie would be an asset to B.loved’s marketing efforts so she asked her to come on board as Media Relations Manager, taking over responsibilities including emails, social media, and website maintenance. When Kadie is not in the shop helping our customers find the perfect look she’s likely on site for a photoshoot or assisting Mandy with buying lovely things for each one of you!
“I’m honored to work with a group of girls I also call my friends. Not many can say that. I also feel very lucky to serve such a welcoming community. I have met some of the best people during my time at B.loved. The relationships I’ve formed are irreplaceable and I have our wonderful team and customers to thank for that!”
Assistant Store Manager: Nikki McDaniel
Our precious Nikki resides in the North Georgia Mountains with her husband Ray, their son Wyatt & dog Millie. When not at work Nikki enjoys spending time with her friends and family around a cozy bonfire or watching her favorite sports, especially football. Her favorite time of year is when it gets crisp in the Fall.
Nikki has been with us for some time now, and boy are we glad! Twenty-four years young and full of life, Nikki keeps us all laughing (she also keeps us in check, and of course up-to-date on the latest/greatest news). If you visit us when she’s in store you won’t leave disappointed. While Nikki takes care of things for us from the frontline, she also stays busy with things behind the scenes. She doubles as store manager and sales associate, and is a rock star at both.
“I enjoy working at B.loved because I love fashion and I love people. But more than that I love helping those people use fashion as a way to make them feel great about themselves.”
Retail Associate: Kathleen Winslette
Nothing short of exuberant, Kathleen (21) is our seasonal retail associate that customers just can’t get enough of! Kathleen started her junior year at the University of Mississippi this August and plans to graduate May of 2020. She then aspires to get her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology. Although she is far from home, Kat loves to come home and visit her family, friends, and B.loved girls! Her dream has always been to live in a big city so she plans to continue her education away from our small town.
When she’s not home on breaks being her loquacious self you can find Kathleen seeking out her next adventure. This girl is always game for a road trip! Once she’s had her morning coffee you may see her in the car, windows down, music playing… just enjoying life.
Kat’s favorite season for fashion is winter! “I love the cold more than anything and love the look of being all bundled up. Beanies, sweaters, boots, what more could you ask for!?”
Before Mandy asked Kathleen to come on board she was always shopping in store alongside her Mom and Sister. It did not take long for the other employees at B.loved to create a personal connection with Kat and her family. She came on to the scene last Christmas break and was a huge factor to our busiest season! “It honestly doesn’t feel like a job. The customers are awesome. Work is fun when you’re somewhere you love!”
Retail Associate: Olivia Winslette
There are truly no words to describe the joy Olivia feels at the site of a perfectly folded shirt. No, we are not kidding. This girl is a rock star. Liv is currently a junior at Creekview High, but plans to attend Auburn once she graduates! She’s as stylish as she is organized and her favorite hobby is to shop… so you know she’s got you covered!
Liv seamlessly fits in at B.loved for many reasons. One, because her favorite food is her mom’s Christmas time buckeyes (peanut butter + chocolate everything – duh!) Two, she loves Fall as much as we do. She likes a good flannel almost as much as she enjoys cheering on the Dawgs! Mama Mia is her go- to and she rocks a pair of flares like she was raised on That’s 70’s Show!
Her favorite thing about working at B.loved is the community. “I love constantly seeing my friends and their families come into the store to shop all our new goodies.”
At the end of the day, Olivia could not be more different from her big sis, but that’s what we love about her! How lucky we are to have not one but TWO Winslette girls on our B.loved team.
Retail Associate: Hensley Graham
Hensley (18) was born and raised right here in Canton, Georgia. This girl is the definition of sweet and we think you will all agree once you meet her! You can find Hensley with a smile on her face, ALWAYS. She recently started classes at the University of North Georgia but is still contemplating between a career in dental hygiene or education.
Some of her favorite things to do include spending time with family, catching a good sunrise or sunset and finding new places to explore and adventure. We should also note that Hensley is one of those “shop til’ ya drop” types. Her and her sweet mama love coming to our downtown store, so we feel confident that her knack for fashion combined with her genuine personality will have you never wanting to leave!
When it comes to seasons Hensley loves it all. “I love grabbing a cute tank top, shorts, and some Bed|Stu sandals – Oh! And of course my sunnies!” But she also loves to bundle up with a comfy sweater and a warm cup of coffee. Mexican food is her love language and the color blue makes her happy. If Hensley isn’t busy with school or working hard to help all of you babes in the store, she can be found enjoying a cool summer night with the windows down listening to some country tunes.
”What I love most about working at B.Loved is the sweet environment and laughter that it comes with. Not only is the store surrounded by the cutest and latest fashion but it is filled with genuine kindness from both employees and customers.”
Hensley cannot wait to greet and get to know each and every one of you!
“Mandy did such an amazing job creating something so special and I am blessed beyond words to be a part of it.”
