Meet the Team
Owner: Mandy Spell
B.loved owner Mandy Spell (30) grew up and currently resides in Canton, GA with her husband Scott, their dog Finn, and the newest addition-- a sweet baby boy named Easton. Mandy likes to start the day with a morning walk to clear her head. When she’s not busy working you can find Mandy enjoying some good food and watching her favorite sports, “Normally I would beat my husband to the sports channel… but now a days it’s Mickey Mouse Club House for all of us!”
Free time is for baby snuggles.
This girl does it ALL; from keeping things running smoothly at the shop to lovin’ on her family and friends. Anyone that knows her knows she would give you the shirt off her back… literally (we’ve seen her undress and sell her own shirt). Selfless and sweet, our girl Mandy is a one-of-a-kind boss lady.
It wasn’t until high school that Mandy found her niche and decided to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Fall of 2006, she enrolled at Atlanta InterContinental University and majored in fashion marketing. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Marketing she tag teamed with a friend to open B.loved online. From there she grew the business we have all come to love.
Mandy’s passion for design has inspired her through the years. “My dream was a hometown store where I could pursue my passions, but what I have gained is so much more. A friendship with the community, a family within co-workers, and a life filled with days of doing what we love – that is what makes this reality a dream come true.”
Co-Owner / Store Manager: Brooke Skellie
B.little part owner and store manager Brooke Skellie (36) grew up in the small town of Waverly Hall, located in middle Georgia. In 1992 her parents relocated to Cherokee County with Brooke and her two sisters. Now, Brooke and her husband, Caleb, live in the Hickory Flat area with their three beautiful children: Waverly, Rowan, and Wynter.
After graduating from Cherokee High in 1999, Brooke went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Science from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of West Georgia. For the last seven years Brooke has worked as a register nurse, specializing in emergency care at Northside Hospital Cherokee and Kaiser Permanente.
It wasn’t until 2014, while pregnant with her second child, that she started shopping with Mandy at B.loved. With a natural eye for fashion and design, Brooke started working for Mandy during her spare time and holidays.
“One day, just during casual conversation, Mandy and I discussed the absence of a specialty boutique for children in the Downton Canton area.”
From there the idea for B.little was born.
Visit our sister store at https://shopblittle.com/
Where you will find clothing for girls and boys in infant sizes through youth (13-14) in styles similar to those found at B.loved. B.little also carries accessories, gifts, and some home décor items.
Store Manager / Media Relations Manager: Kadie Mullinax
Our girl, Kadie (23) was raised in the small mountain town of Jasper, GA. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones and her dog, Opie Taylor (who might be seen in store). When not at work you can typically find Kadie running, baking, or traveling; just a view of her favorite things.
After graduating from Pickens High she continued her education at Reinhardt University, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Kadie joined the team during the fall of 2015.
“I have always been passionate about fashion and helping people, so it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the work and the people I am lucky enough to call co-workers.”
Mandy quickly learned that Kadie would be an asset to B.loved’s marketing efforts so she asked her to come on board as Media Relations Manager, taking over responsibilities including emails, social media, and website maintenance. When Kadie is not in the shop helping our customers find the perfect look she’s likely on site for a photoshoot or assisting Mandy with buying lovely things for each one of you!
“I’m honored to work with a group of girls I also call my friends. Not many can say that. I also feel very lucky to serve such a welcoming community. I have met some of the best people during my time at B.loved. The relationships I’ve formed are irreplaceable and I have our wonderful team and customers to thank for that!”
Assistant Store Manager: Nikki McDaniel
Our precious Nikki resides in the North Georgia Mountains with her husband Ray, their two dogs Farrah and Millie, and the newest member of the family… a sweet baby boy named Wyatt. When not at work Nikki enjoys spending time with her friends and family around a cozy bonfire or watching her favorite sports, especially football. Her favorite time of year is when it gets crisp in the Fall.
Nikki has been with us for some time now, and boy are we glad! Twenty-three years young and full of life, Nikki keeps us all laughing (she also keeps us in check, and of course up-to-date on the latest/greatest news). If you visit us when she’s in store you won’t leave disappointed. While Nikki takes care of things for us from the frontline, she also stays busy with things behind the scenes. She doubles as store manager and sales associate, and is a rock star at both.
“I enjoy working at B.loved because I love fashion and I love people. But more than that I love helping those people use fashion as a way to make them feel great about themselves.”
Retail Associate: Amanda Blackwell
Last, but certainly not least is the newest member of our team. Miss Amanda came to us after teaching elementary school for 12 years. She has been married to her husband, Cole, for 15 years. They have three wonderful, energetic kids: Mac, Lauren, and Knox.
“All of my kids are very involved in sports and clubs, so they keep me hopping all of the time!”
When Amanda is not here at B.loved she enjoys kayaking, swimming, painting, and spending time with friends and family. In her spare time she also loves to organize and decorate.
Amanda is as stylish as she is sweet. She has made great strides in such a short amount of time. Her mom-like personality makes us feel right at home; you never have to worry about being taken care of, because Amanda will have your back.
“I love working at B.loved because I’m surrounded by a beautiful group of positive ladies in a hometown boutique that I have fallen in love with!”
